61st Annual Meeting, Saturday, April 12, 2014
The P.E.I. Home and School Federation’s 61st Annual General Meeting & Conference is coming soon, and we extend this invitation to all members right across P.E.I., to join us on Saturday, April 12, 2014 at the Dutch Inn (Howard Johnson Hotel) , 100 Trans-Canada Highway, North River/Cornwall, 8:30 a.m.- 2:30 p.m.
Plans are well underway for a meeting filled with networking, sharing best practices, and learning about new educational initiatives plus featured workshops in the afternoon. Please extend this invitation to all members, parents and teachers, in your school. Announce at Home & School meetings, on Facebook, Twitter, blogs and websites.
Speakers, Hon. Alan McIsaac, Minister of Education and Early Childhood Development, Deputy Minister, Sandy MacDonald, and Doug MacDougall, Director of Curriculum Delivery, English Language School Board will provide an overview of initiatives in progress to improve student achievement in Prince Edward Island.
Our Patron, The Honourable H. Frank Lewis, Lieutenant Governor will join us for the luncheon.

1. AGM Registration Brochure ~ Register delegates by March 28/14 You may register any number of delegates from your school. However, you may only appoint five as your voting delegates. Everyone is invited to sign up for an afternoon workshop, when registering.
2. 2014 Resolutions ~ Review, discuss and vote on all resolutions at your Home and School meeting. Appoint your AGM delegates. Provide voting results to the voting delegates so they will be prepared to vote on your Association=s behalf, at the AGM on April 12th.
3. 2014 Nomination Form ~ Submit nominations for officers who, in your opinion, have the necessary qualifications to do the work of the P.E.I. Home and School Federation by March 31st.
4. Volunteer of the Year and Life Membership Awards ~ Submit nominations by March 14th.
