School Crossing Guard of the Year Award

The Prince Edward Island Home and School Federation is pleased to announce our annual School Crossing Guard of the Year Award.  This award recognizes school crossing guards on Prince Edward Island for their service in keeping our students safe as they travel to and from school each day.

Parents, guardians, teachers, administrators, staff, and members of the community at large may, through their local Home and School associations, nominate a school crossing guard from their school community for this award.

Please attach a paragraph describing why you are nominating this person.  Include supporting recommendation letters from other parents, your principal, teachers and/or students in your school.

Click here for School Crossing Guard of the Year Nomination form.

Deadline for nominations: April 27, 2018

Nominations will be reviewed by the board of the PEI Home and School Federation and an award winner selected.  The award will be handed out during Safe Kids Week, the end of May, first of June.
