67th Annual General Meeting: Live over Zoom
Healthy Bodies = Healthy Minds
Monday, September 14th, 2020
6:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
Attn: Presidents / Co-Chairs of Home and School Associations
The Annual General Meeting of the PEI Home and School Federation was postponed in April due to the COVID-19 pandemic. An AGM is held at least once in every calendar year to report on the business of the previous year to its member Home and School Associations.
The Annual General Meeting has been rescheduled and will be held live over ZOOM on Monday evening, September 14th, 6:30 – 8:00 p.m. The board will conduct a condensed business meeting followed by an education update and Q&A with Hon. Brad Trivers, Minister of Education and Lifelong Learning.
Presidents/Co-Chairs: Please forward this 2020 AGM invitation notice to your school community with a request to register by September 1st which will provide PEIHSF with an early view of how many people are attending. All Home and Schools are asked to ensure your school community is represented. Those who register will be sent a link to join the virtual AGM.
- Please submit one registration per delegate.
- Registration will remain open to 12 noon on the day of the meeting, September 14th.
- Each home and school can send five voting delegates, but there’s no limit to the number of additional parents, guardians, teachers, administrators and staff who can attend.
- There are no registration fees or other costs to attend.
- The meeting will be a virtual one, held on Zoom.
To help run the meeting as efficiently as possible, we request that registrants review the Book of Reports 2020 prior to the meeting. We will conduct all necessary proceedings, including voting on 4 resolutions (pgs. 89-93) and the election of officers (pg.88).
Home and School brings partners together to collaborate on issues that matter to the whole school community. Don’t miss this opportunity to ask questions about back-to-school during the pandemic with Minister Trivers.
