How to support your students at home with online learning

Managing online learning when school is closed is a challenge for families. Based on their work during the pandemic, P.E.I.’s education leaders have jointly established guidance intended to help families help students manage online learning, working towards a return to school. Registrants will submit questions/comments in advance. Panelists will answer these live at the Town Hall webinar.

Town Halls will focus specifically on managing online learning and concerns, including screen time, facilitating social interactions, mental health, managing expectations for students as individual learners, respite, and other educational matters.

Questions coming forward about the return to school process, vaccines for children, and general COVID-19 questions have been forwarded to the Public Schools Branch, Department of Education and Lifelong Learning, and Chief Public Health Office. We will help inform and support families in preparing to return to school when the time comes.
