Annual Meetings

The Annual General Meeting (AGM) & Spring Conference of the P.E.I. Home and School Federation is held each April in Charlottetown. Delegates from local Home and School Associations and Parent Councils gather to consider resolutions, discuss shared priorities, engage with educational partners, and elect new members to the Board of Directors. Following the AGM, copies of the approved resolutions are forwarded to government departments and other decision-making bodies, requesting action as outlined. Official responses to the resolutions are shared with members and posted on the Federation’s website.

Local Home and School Association presidents are asked to submit their Association’s Annual Report by the end of February. The report should outline the activities and accomplishments of their organization from September to June of the current school year. Collectively, these reports document the ongoing history of the Home and School movement in Prince Edward Island—from its beginnings in 1953 to the present day.
