BE IT RESOLVED that the PEI Home and School Federation increase the existing eight regional directors to ten to align with the family of school boundaries.

At a first glance, this resolution does make sense to align the regional representation with the families of schools. However, I would caution that you consider the proportional representation as some families of schools are quite small compared to others. Is it fair to ask a parent representing 500 students while others would represent 5000 ie: Kinkora family of schools — 500 and the Three Oaks family of schools — 5000. If you require some assistance in determining your representation, we will be happy to assist you in providing you with numbers, boundaries, etc.
