Volunteer of the Year Award
Awarded for exceptional contribution to the total well-being of children and youth in P.E.I. through service at the Local Home and School Association.
The P.E.I. Home and School Federation Inc. is pleased to announce the Annual Volunteer Award for exceptional contribution to the total well-being of children and youth in P.E.I. through service at the Local Home and School Association. The Volunteer Award will acknowledge and recognize the valuable contributions and achievements of excellence of individuals within a Home and School Association. One award will be presented annually during the Annual Meeting. The Board Members of the Federation will constitute the Selection Committee for this award.
Eligibility/Selection Criteria:
All Home and School Associations are invited to nominate a member from your Association who has demonstrated exceptional service to the well-being of children and youth as a Home and School volunteer and has made a significant contribution to improving the school environment for children and youth and must include the following information:
- Years of service in Local Home and School Association(s).
- Details of Home and School Executive and/or Committee work at the local level.
- Other information related to Home and School involvement.
