In October of each year the Semi-Annual Meeting of the PEI Home and School Federation is held in central Prince Edward Island. Delegates from local Home and Schools and parent councils gather with the education partners such as the Minister of Education, Early Learning and Culture, Public Schools Branch directors, to discuss current topics, issues in PEI's education system.

- Speakers:
Karyn Kibsey, Senior Manager, Canadian Center for Child Protection, will talk about child sexual abuse, reducing risk, and how we can talk to our kids about their personal safety. - Cpl Robert Yaschuk, Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) Internet Child Exploitation Unit, will talk about child exploitation and how to keep your child safe.
Who can attend? Parents, School Staff, Community Members (adults only)
***IMPORTANT: The Canadian Centre for Child Protection Session is not intended for children or youth. The content will address child sexual abuse and is suitable for adult attendees only.
